I’m forcing my self to read the last two chapters of this book. It’s a good book and every thing it’s just some times naomi gets very detaild about the issues she’s talking about. No it’s not about logos and graphic design. It’s more about the dark side of big corporations and how they are taking over our lives.

It’s really weird that the only time i read this book is when I’m waiting for my appointment with the dentitst. By the way why people are always starring at me while reading? Is it that strange for some one to read in public spaces? Also for some odd reason people always assume that I’m “studying” when they see me reading a book. The Dentist asked me “what are you studying?” he also asked me “what are your hobbies?” How gay is that.

What? Someone reading for entertainment and education in Kuwait because he wants to? Glad to know I am not alone.

I always remeber this Bill Hicks line:

I was in Nashville, Tennesee last year. After the show I went to a Waffle House. I’m not proud of it, I was hungry. And I’m alone, I’m eating and I’m reading a book, right? Waitress walks over to me: “[smack smack smack smack] Hey, whatchoo readin’ for?”

Isn’t that the weirdest fucking question you’ve ever heard? Not what am I readING, but what am I reading *for*? Well, godammit, ya stumped me! Why do I read? Well… hmmm… I dunno… I guess I read for a lot of reasons, and the main one is so I don’t end up being a fucking waffle waitress.

    Some more great Hicks quotes
