Tracks I Love
Gotan Project - La Del Ruso
From their killer Album (La Revancha Del Tango), I dunno but I feel there’s some kind of a khaleeji Vibe to it. Also listen to “Epoca”.
Thom Yorke & PJ Harvey - This Mess We’re In
I dunno why I never gave radiohead a try (I know i’m missing alot) but whenever I listen to a track by thom yorke and some body else (outside radiohead) I just fall in love with it. More Examples: Bjork & Thom Yorke - I’ve Seen It all, DJ Shadow & Thom Yorke - Rabbit In Your Headlight (from Unkle’s Album Psyence Fiction).
Perez “Prez” Prado & His Orchestra - Guaglione
I just love it, I haven’t seen the movie where they used it as soundtrack. Lili Boniche made a song called “Bambino” and he used the same Melody.
Sandy Bull - Carmina Burana Fantasy
I found this track on a Compilation CD made by REM. I don’t know much about sandy bull but I knew that he’s an experiemntal Guitarist. In this track he used the Banjo to play the work of German classical composer Carl Orff. He Used Oud to play a classic jazz rhythm (I can’t remember the name) which was recently used by fairouz in her latest album “wala keef” (the rhythm that is).

Excellent selection.
Music is truly a gift.
People who don’t appreciate it are “unfortunate ones”…
It is the language of the soul. The instant mood enhancer (or instant depressant).
If I had to choose, I would rather go blind than deaf… I value my sight immensely, but if I HAD to choose… Sound it would be.
I think I’ve pretty much seen it all. And I have a good imagination, so I can envision anything if it is described to me.
But music—now THAT, I can’t live without…

Thanks Amunki, I really can’t add much to your beautiful view on music. Actually, I totally agree with the being blind is better than being deaf part.
