A Day in History

Dude, In the parliament, I didn’t know I was sitting next to a legend. So I was sitting there next to Busynow when this old lady came and asked to sit between us. We moved and emptied a seat between us for her. I didn’t know who she is but I really admired what she did, she don’t want to to be any kind of ’separation’ between men and women who are fighting for this cause.

I knew later that this woman is Lulwa Al Gitami, the first activist for women rights in kuwait. When Al-Khrafi kicked us out she sat there challenging all the fucking impolite security men (is it army?). God bless her, I think I saw her stand over that little fence in front of the parliament . YOU GO GIRL!

***

The funniest rumor , Tabtabai is the one who clapped the second time.

***

Shit. It was really intense down the street, maybe because I was the only one doing the shouting. It felt like a party without the booze which was really cool. The uncool thing is, I think I’m finally having a hangover.

***

… آتفوووه

***

For those who have seen me there and didn’t say ‘Hi’ …
SHAME ON YOU

Jewaira, thanks and actually it was kinda curly so … yeah.
Hey maybe you can write one of these stories about this hot and extremely sexy guy with an afro/curly hair and maybe … you know … he does all that hot stuff you usually talk about.

Baaad Idea Baaad Idea, well, that was just a sugestion.

It was good seeing you there man… Kudos to you on your efforts.
    (Plus, your t-shirt kicked ass)
I’ll send you your pics soon.
The protest/march/gathering was “seemingly” successful, however, I’m not convinced yet. (Especially after getting kicked out and all)… What a bunch of bullshit THAT was…

Let’s hope that it wasn’t all in vain, and that something will be done soon.

    Allah Kareem.

    Just for the record:

I did’nt clap! Khrafi made it clear!, and you know how he is!..!!! :( Bess he shouldnt have made that rule, but again if he didnt, things would get out of hand “sharbikah” o israkh” a7na kina ib majliss ilomah o kil mokan lah i7tirama no matter how passionate we were.

Tata: The first time we marched towards the parliment, and people started to retrieve, you started screaming “hathi 7oqoooqkom! gi3dow! wain ray7een! don’t go”…was that you?

I stayed, i was inspired, it was you your kishah and I, becasue when i looked back “objects appeared smaller than they actually are” hahaha Good job!

I, on the other hand, went up to Tata to say hi. You can’t miss the ‘fro. There will be a next one soon. I didn’t really see the shirt, what did it say? I thought it was a stamped pic of om kalthom. Wasn’t it?

Waterlilie, a place that has desregarded women for 40 years deserves respect?

Keep the Lulwa Al-Qatami in you alive. See ya’ll next protest.

    Jackie, Damn!
1814, actually I nodded my head saying ‘hi’ to you (I didn’t know it was you, I was just trying to be nice) when I first came in at 7ish and you gave me that look ‘is he? Isn’t he?’.
Busynow, You bet I am. I bought all the papers.
Jewaira, yaaaay … I will be waiting on fire.
Shurouq, Thanks … and the ass kissing part is really working.
    Waterlilie, Lulwa rocks indeed.
Vintage, Everybody knows how do I look like … but ‘leading the demonstrations’ I wasn’t leading … but I can assure you I was the guy with the ‘big hair’.
Forzaq8, Thanks for answering on my behalf. See you next month.
