Branding: Hypocrisy

What’s with companies using quran radio station as the waiting tune in their phone system? Keep in mind it’s the same companies that used music stations before ramadhan.

Do they realize how this will reflect on them?

I’m not saying stick with pop music radio stations, It’s not professional to use them in the first place but at least for ramadhan use stations like the easy listening and “cool jazz” station or something like that.

What do you think?

Religion display is “in” these days, it’s “the style” in the great words of SK. The Holy Words should be treated in greater respect than, as in this instance, be used for cheap -capital C- commercial purposes.

I guess they think it’s good karma to take your call AND save your soul at the same time. It’s one of the reasons I hate those little kiosks in Kuwait that blast the Koran. I know I’m going to hell, I don’t need to be reminded every time I turn a new corner.
