Blogger behind Fastelco’s recent blocking
Apparently this person is responsible for the blocking of the whole .blogspot.com domain which also includes a relatively huge sum of the kuwaiti blogs hosted under mentioned domain. He called Fastelco and reported that some blogs “… insult Allah and his messenger …” and the result? a big chunk of the kuwaiti blogosphere is unreachable for people with normal connection. You can still access anything using a proxy.

The web is full of people expressing their opinions on many subjects, islam is one of them. People been making fun of religion ever since religions existed, Look at the west and how they incorporate religious icons (like jesus christ) in their comedy shows and TV series.
Please dedicate your life to something worthwhile, stop wasting your time (and ours) and fucking things in a major way in the process. I remember I got a message about this petition for the company that runs paltalk to stop one channel that was dedicated to curse and make fun of prophet mohammed (pbuh) and the company asked for a million signature. How is that petition? do you guys still collect signatures? did you reach fifty thousand fuckers who don’t have anything better to do? How hard is it to just ignore low lifes who run such channels and avoid being the closest thing to them?
Brother … Literally, Get a life.

Your giving him too much credit, the guy doesnt have that much push. As much as he likes to think that he has an affect on the world, he doesnt.
Fasttelco is not going to block blogspot due to some zealot bitching about a random website. And if they were going too, it would have the whole fasttelco blocked logo. This is either a really bad error on their part OR somebody very high up/has access to servers disabled the blogs. If they were targetting one site, they could just ban that specific site.

I believe in freedom of speech.
And yes… Even psycho-fundamentalists are entitled to their opinions. I respect that…
But to “report” something, and be a rat and have it “banned”, that’s just plain hateful.
So instead of wasting your time and energy by writing in your blog here in Kuwait, maybe you should move to Kabul or something… Surely your words will be more appreciated there…

Who is he to actually call up Fasttelco and demand to block a site. Mino hatha??? La oo fog hatha kila, he actually expains himself why he did it to clarify to other bloggers that it was not his intent to block all blogs…but only one. It’s like saying “Oops…My bad” ….he serously needs therapy. Opinions are opinions.

Correct me if I was wrong.. but isn’t free to register accounts on blogspot? Ya3nee, if one blog is banned, I can easily change one letter of the name of the blog, and baaam.. it’s up again.. and if they block it, I can change another letter, or yet choose another word.. and baaaam its up.. no way that they can stop it unless they block the whole blogspot, where that person would go to word press and register the same name of the blog on blogspot.. can you see the pattern here??

Mr.Islam did’nt get blogspot banned; he could call every ISP in Kuwait and cry blood, not going to get anything done. Instead of giving him credit for doing something he obviously did’nt do, Ignore him.
