Fairouz’ AUD Concert Sampler
My fairouz-loving friend just sent me an audio clip with samples of the songs she sung in her latest concert in Dubai at the American University. I think she still got it and I’m looking forward to listen to her album which is on hold for the moment as she’s a little bit depressed, Is that a new thing to Fairouz? :p

That track broke my heart.. 3an jadd.
First of all, thanks Tata for posting it. But could you clarify? was it a distributed sampler CD or something? or was it pirated then edited? seems awfully clear though..
As to the album, I heard some of the new songs intended for it live back in Beiteddine 2003. And they were *amaaaazing*.. Ziad at his best.. mellow and beautiful. I can still remember and hum the tunes.. (”Ya di3ano”: 6araby+jumpy, “Ya salaam 3a 7ubak”: gorgeous ballad …etc)
There was talk (on the fairuz boards) that the Armenian Orchestra recorded their tracks back in late 2003, and Fairuz was to lay her vocals soon after.. here we are 3 yrs later, and no album. really frustrating. What’s a guy gotta do to get those songs??
