Car CD Player Recommendations
I need a recommendation on which brand/ model I should get for my car as it doesn’t have a built-in CD Player. I want something sophisticated with mp3 compatibility and whatever cool features you think I would be interested in.
I think I have seen something that has a bluetooth thingy incorporated in it.
Please let me know of prices, dealers and any experience you had.
Thank you

Have you thought about getting a sterio with a line-in so that you could plug in your portable mp3 player.
Or you could just go for those cassettes with wire attachment that you could pop into any cassette player and listen to your portable stuff.
Try to keep all your music in one place, and remember that transfering files to an mp3 player is usual faster than burning them to disk.
cheers.

If you’ve got a good budget, time for research, patience and if it rocks your boat, then an hdd based MP3 player could be a cool option. The Estone model plays radio, CD and your hdd-based tunes. I’ve posted a few links that might be useful. (no personal experience though)

Check out the Alpines. They are now available on display at Virgin even. The good one will set you back like KD160-180

Check out Alpine, Clairon (In the store in Marina they are the dealers but they are RIP OFFS if you order from US its cheaper) and Sony XPlod if your on a shallow budget. The Best installer is in hawally its a small Shady looking store but, that guy knows his radios! I haven’t been there in 1.5 years but I’ss see if he’s still aorund.

For Audio devices, I either recommend a kenwood or a pioneer for car audio system, also alpine, but I could not find the dealer when I was looking for a new cd player for my car, I got a pioneer one which is alot better than the original
