Suckiest Logo I’ve seen recently

I can’t believe a consultancy company that specialize in help existing businesses to improve their inner working structures has a logo this bad. Now I’m sure this is not a money-issue, They can afford a decent agency to do that job, It’s OBVIOUSLY the taste of the decision maker who have absolutely nothing to do with design.

Why do they think because they own the company they can do whatever they want? I would really respect a man who confessed his weaknesses in certain areas and handed the job to people who know how to handle it.

This logo on a scale of ten doesn’t even deserve 1. Unreadable, badly-designed, lines are too thin to be seen from a distance (best example, their billboard on gulf road) … and really what the hell they were thinking when they used the triangle ( the A if you must insist) instead of the alef.

Since you thought it sucked, I guess this means that Mark will think it’s a wonderful logo…

Well with all do respect TaTa … I am a big fan of yours but still I don’t think that you where objective. I believe the logo is creative and triggers ones mind. At the end of the day logos are images to correlate to not necessary to represent things.

    Dear scale 1:100,

    “not necessary to represent things.”

    EXECUSE ME?

Well, since they took the typographic route … I believe the least they could have done was to represent the company’s name. Please read the comments and notice how hard it was for other people to read it too.

I’m sorry I can’t be more objective than that.

DISCLAIMER: I ABSOLUTELY DON’T HAVE ANY KIND OF ASSOCIATION WITH THE DESIGNER OF THIS LOGO NOR THE COMPANY ITSELF. I’M JUST JUDGING THIS FROM MY POINT OF VIEW AS A DESIGNER. NOTHING PERSONAL AT ALL.

    Dear TaTa,
Well I read all the comments before posting, from the feedback I think it was a brain teasing kind of logo which needs a bit of analysis and that what makes it successful and printed in your mind!!!!

Take for example some recognized logos that correlate not represent
    Nike swoosh
    Mcdonald’s M

I am a novice when it comes to graphic design but I am talking from a targeted client perspective.

Those companys have a history … Do you think McDonald’s started the company with a logo that only says ‘M’. They evolved, there were so many stages before that.

I suggest you google design history of McDonald’s logo. I also suggest you change your mind about how ’successful’ that logo is. Don’t fool yourself just because you sold it to the client, doesn’t mean it’s a good logo. (I’m only assuming you have something to do with it, or else why are you taking all of this personally)

honestly it was gr8 experience to hear and read ur views re. our arabic logo. this blog was forwarded to me by the marketing dept. at my co. of which they thought “annoying”…i didnt think that at all. actually…we had a specialized company to do that…the decision was taken through a big team…we r n a phase right now where we r thinking to use the english version only…..i would appreciate it if you would tell us if this a right thing to go 4 the english logo only for both E/A ads.

tell us what you think…WE DO CARE :-)
    thx
