If English/American is your language , then you better be good and have a strong message if youre going to be any good in rapping. Honestly , to all people who said they liked their music , if you knew nothing about them , and just heared the track randomly on the radio in amongst other tracks , would you not say..what is this crap ??!!! or the least , you will change the radio station and never remember hearing any of their tracks. Arabs have a strong message a real message , and hip-hop is a great way to deliver this message , whatever that message may be. But if you immitate , no one will ever listen to you..if you really want to make a change and be heared , you need to inovate..bring something new to the table. There are quite a few Palestinian and Lebanese groups , doing it...theyre being real about it , theyre trying to innovate..they are not there yet , but they are on the way..they have something...others like euphrates who are iraqis living in canada , they rap in english , however they represent the arab world very strongly , and they are good..their beats are solid , their ryhmes and flows are on point , and there is thought in what they say....they are innovating... i think , if youre going to rap , you should do it in your language.
