Sargam RIP

I just came to know that one of my favorite restaurants, Sargam, is closing down. It seems like they are demolishing the whole building.
It’s sad, really sad.

It’s really sad when something you really like is not available anymore.

I know for sure there’s another branch in the one of the Indian neighborhoods in Salmiya. I just never tried and I doubt it will be as good as the Murqab branch. Very soulful place.

Yo Dude - don’t fret man. Know am replying a tad bit too late.
But just for consolation, there are several joints like SARGAM (vegetarian):
In sharq, u got UDUPI RESTAURANT (near AL-AIN INSURANCE). It’s well set-up and reasonable. Just ask for THAALI.
In City (opp. the 3 banking complex), u got GREENLAND.
In salmiya (as in the Indian part of Salmiya), u got, guess what SARGAM! (the original outlet), SAAGAR (cheaper than SARGAM, and equally good), and scores of others.
